Low-interest credit cards can save you thousands of dollars every year. Credit card debt is the most expensive debt next to payday loans. The annual percentage rate (APRs) on credit cards can be as high as 30 percent. Our advice is to pay your balance in full each month. If you cannot afford to pay the balance off each month, which most of us can’t, you need to snag the credit card with the lowest possible APR. Below is our list of the six best low-interest credit cards:
PENFED PROMISE VISA® CARD
FMC Notes. Penfed Promise Visa Card is one of the least expensive credit cards on the market. The variable APR will be 11.74% – 17.99 %, based on your creditworthiness. Because this card is from a credit union, you might need to be a member to apply for it.
Annual Fee. No Annual Fee
Pricing. 4.99% promotional balance transfer rate for 12 Months on transfers made between January 1, 2019 – March 31, 2019. After that, the APR for the unpaid balance and any new balance transfers will be 11.74% to 17.99% based on your creditworthiness and will vary with the market based on the Prime Rate. This transaction is subject to credit approval

CITI SIMPLICITY® CARD
FMC Notes. Citi Simplicity Card does not have the lowest APR on our list, but it’s on the top of the list of its long 0% introductory APR for 21 months from the date of first transfer. All transfers must be completed in the first four months. You have nearly two years to pay a transferred amount with no interest. After that, the variable APR will be 16.24-26.24%, based on your creditworthiness.
Annual Fee. No Annual Fee
Pricing. 0% Intro APR on balance transfers for 21 months from the date of first transfer. All transfers must be completed in the first four months. After that, the variable APR will be 16.24% – 26.24%, based on your creditworthiness.

Barclaycard Ring® Mastercard®
FMC Notes. Like the Citi Simplicity Card, the Barclay Ring Mastercard has dual benefits: great introductory rate on balance transfers and APR post-introductory. 0% intro APR for 15 months on balance transfers made within 45 days of account opening. After that, a variable 14.24% APR will apply.
Annual Fee. No Annual Fee
Pricing. 0% introductory APR for the first 15 billing cycles following each balance transfers that posts to your account within 45 days of account opening. After that (and for balance transfers that do not post within 45 days of account opening), a variable 14.24% APR will apply.

CAPITAL ONE QUICKSILVER CARD
FMC Notes. The Capital One Quicksilver Card is a triple threat: you earn a one-time $150 signup bonus, 0% introductory APR for the first 15 months that your account is open, and 15.24%, 21.24% or 25.24%, based on your creditworthiness. Plus, you get unlimited 1.5% Cash Back on every purchase, every day. The potential 25.24% is the only reason this card is not the first on the list. If your credit is solid, this should be your go-to card.
Annual Fee. No Annual Fee
Pricing. 0% introductory APR for the first 15 months that your account is open. After that, your APR will be 15.24%, 21.24%, or 25.24%, based on your creditworthiness. This APR will vary with the market based on the Prime Rate.

THE DISCOVER IT CASHBACK
FMC Notes. The Discover IT cash Back provides great cashback and low APR. You can earn up to 5% cashback at different places each quarter like gas stations, grocery stores, restaurants, Amazon.com, and more. Keep up with the different categories on which you can earn that 5% can be a bit irritating, but not a solid reason not to take advantage of this great card.
Annual Fee. No Annual Fee
Pricing. 0% introductory APR for the first 15 months that your account is open. After that, your APR will be 15.24%, 21.24%, or 25.24%, based on your creditworthiness. This APR will vary with the market based on the Prime Rate.

Wells Fargo Platinum Card
FMC Notes. The Wells Fargo Platinum Card also has an incredible 0% intro APR for 18 months on balance transfers; its 13.74 to 27.24% after the intro APR makes one of the least expensive credit cards on the market.
Annual Fee. No Annual Fee
Pricing. 00% introductory APR for 18 months. After that, your APR will be 13.74% to 27.24%, based on your creditworthiness. This APR will vary with the market based on the U.S. Prime Rate. A balance transfer request must be made within 120 days from the account opening to qualify for the introductory APR.
